During this meeting, discussions were held regarding the Bee-Fence research project, a joint initiative by the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Science of the University of Ruhuna, in collaboration with the Industrial Development Authority. The project aims to provide a biological solution to the Human-Elephant conflict, and positive feedback was received regarding the provision of necessary support to implement this as a full-scale project in the future.
