Denipitiya Multipurpose Center
The Denipitiya Multipurpose Center, established in 2007 by the Sri Lanka Southern Development Authority based on a Cabinet decision, spans approximately one acre and includes four buildings. This center was created to facilitate various training programs and to promote investment opportunities.
Of the four buildings, Building A has been handed over to the Department of Industries. Among the remaining buildings, one has been leased to a local brush producer, and Building C is rented to an industrialist.
Two buildings, located along the main road, serve distinct purposes
One houses a Hela Bojunhala, which promotes nutritious and toxin-free traditional Sri Lankan meals to the local population, aiming to foster a healthy community.
The other building became home to the Ruhunu Viskam Sales Outlet on December 28, 2022. This outlet provides a marketplace for local industrialists to sell their products, offering a platform to support regional entrepreneurship and economic growth.
