The release of fingerlings for the third phase of the Ridiyagama Fish Seed Unit was held recently under the patronage of the Honorable Chairman of the Hambantota District Coordinating Committee, Mr. Nihal Galappatti.

A group of government officials, including Mr. Sarath Samarasekara (Hambantota District Coordinating Secretary to the Honorable Governor of the Southern Province), Mr. G. Wickramamudali (Honorable Chairman of the Southern Province Industrial Development Authority), Mr. J.A.S. Jayasinghe (Director General), and Mr. W.G. Sameera Indunil (District Engineer of the Hambantota District Engineering (Buildings) Office), along with many representatives from the political authority, participated in this event.
